As we launch into a new school year, I’m filled with pride and gratitude for our amazing community. A special welcome to our new families! You are now part of a school that values curiosity, teamwork, and the belief that every Explorer can go farther when we journey together.
This year is extra special as we celebrate the 70th anniversary of Pine Shadows Elementary — seven decades of learning, friendship, and community spirit! It’s the perfect time to reflect on our rich history while looking ahead to the bright future our students will create.
That’s where the PTA comes in — our mission is to support our students, teachers, and families so they can shine brightly and reach for the stars. When you join the PTA or volunteer your time, you’re helping create experiences, resources, and opportunities that make a lasting impact. Big or small, every contribution fuels our school’s success and keeps our Explorer spirit strong.
Let’s make this year one of celebration, connection, and discovery. Together, we can take our Explorers to new heights!

¡Bienvenidos de nuevo, Exploradores!
Al iniciar un nuevo año escolar, me siento llena de orgullo y gratitud por nuestra increíble comunidad. ¡Una bienvenida muy especial a nuestras nuevas familias! Ahora forman parte de una escuela que valora la curiosidad, el trabajo en equipo y la creencia de que cada Explorador puede llegar más lejos cuando viajamos juntos.
Este año es especialmente significativo, ya que celebramos el 70º aniversario de Pine Shadows Elementary — ¡siete décadas de aprendizaje, amistad y espíritu comunitario! Es el momento perfecto para reflexionar sobre nuestra rica historia y mirar hacia el brillante futuro que nuestros estudiantes construirán.
Ahí es donde entra PTA: nuestra misión es apoyar a nuestros estudiantes, maestros y familias para que brillen con luz propia y alcancen las estrellas. Cuando te unes a PTA o dedicas tu tiempo como voluntario, estás ayudando a crear experiencias, recursos y oportunidades que dejan una huella duradera. Pequeña o grande, cada contribución impulsa el éxito de nuestra escuela y mantiene vivo el espíritu Explorador.
