Join us for our first PTA General Meeting on September 10th at 3:30PM in the PSE Cafeteria (before Open House). PTA members and non-members are all welcome! Come meet our new committee chairs, review our budget for the year and learn about our upcoming events, including our annual fall festival, Explorer Fest!

Visit the PTA table at Open House on September 10th from 4:00-5:30PM to meet our team, and sign-up for committees or volunteer opportunities!

Reflections Art Contest

The Reflections Art Contest is officially underway! Calling all Explorers who love to write, dance, sing, create art, or express themselves through creativity.

This year’s theme is “What My Culture Means To Me” — a chance to share your unique perspective, experiences, and creativity with the PSE community!

Mrs. Stone will open up her Art Room for students to work on their submissions (must be accompanied by an adult).

☆ Please take a few minutes to fill out the Texas PTA Legislative Priorities survey by September 9, 2026. This is a great opportunity to share your concerns and ideas relating to our children's education and what you would like addressed during the 2027 90th Texas Legislative Session. Our collective feedback will help Texas PTA develop the legislative priorities that we will support and ask our legislators to advance next year. Our voice is made stronger with the addition of each of yours.

The survey mainly involves selecting options (versus writing). If there is an area you do not feel knowledgeable about, you can skip it. But the more information we have from more people, the better we can develop priorities that we all support for next year's legislative session.

After you finish the survey, please put February 22, 2027, into your calendar to join other SBISD PTA members at the Capitol for Rally Day.

☆ Favor de llenar la encuesta de Texas PTA antes del 9 de septiembre de 2026 para compartir sus ideas y/o preocupaciones acerca de la educación de nuestros hijos y qué temas quiera que lleven durante la 90.ª asamblea legislativa de Texas en 2027. Nuestros comentarios ayudarán a Texas PTA a desarrollar las prioridades legislativas que vamos a apoyar y pedir a nuestros legisladores que avancen en el año que viene. Favor de compartir esta encuesta con todos los miembros de su PTA para que rieguen la voz. Juntos somos más fuertes.

In order to volunteer on an SBISD campus, you must be registered with SBISD and pass a background check. Registrations are now open for the 2026-2027 school year and take up to two weeks to approve.

Para ser voluntario en un campus del distrito Spring Branch, debe estar registrado con el distrito y ser aprobado/verificado. Las inscripciones para el año escolar 2026-2027 ya están abiertas y toman hasta dos semanas para ser aprobadas.

Car Rider Line - Door Squad

Mornings are much smoother with volunteers helping in the car rider line! Volunteers are needed to assist opening car doors for our kiddos and directing them to the front entrance. Help as often as you can!

Dads of Great Students - WATCH D.O.G.S

Our WATCH D.O.G.S. program brings positive male role models onto our campus to support student safety, strengthen our school community, and make a lasting impact on our Explorers.

Fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and father figures are invited to volunteer for a day at PSE, where you may help with arrival and dismissal, support teachers, assist with lunch and recess, or simply be a positive presence around campus.
