Ayúdenos a crear más de 15 juegos hechos a mano para el Festival de Otoño. No se requieren habilidades especiales: solo juegos divertidos, sencillos y fáciles de hacer (no comprados en tiendas). Conserven su juego después del evento o dónalo a la PTA. La PTA ofrece premios y voluntarios para el día del evento.

An important aspect of supporting the success of every child is participating in local governance and policy-making. A piece of that is remaining informed about the agendas and topics covered at SBISD Board of Trustee meetings. 

Next week on 10/14/25, the Board will be presented with the district’s financial report. The finances will impact the future budget conversations. 

Here are some important links to keep up-to-date and know where to find information. 

• View past board meetings. This link is also where you can click to watch the board meetings live (you can press “play” near the top of the webpage).

• Click on different files to read through the presentations to the board. Click “Agenda” and then you will see documents available to open for the various topics.

• Sign up for an AI-generated board meeting summaries and transcripts made available through the Houston Chronicle.

Un aspecto importante para apoyar el éxito de cada niño es participar en la gobernanza y la formación de la política de nuestro distrito escolar. Una parte requiere que nos mantengamos informados sobre las agendas y los temas de las reuniones del Comité del Distrito de SBISD. 

En la semana que entra (14/10/25), el Comité de SBISD va a recibir un reporte financiero del distrito escolar. Las finanzas impactarán las conversaciones futuras del presupuesto.
