Many are encountering difficult times. The PSE PTA community wants to ensure that no one - not one child or adult - goes hungry.
We are sharing some resources here, but if your family needs help, please communicate with Ms. Lucy so we can know how to help specific families.
If you are a federal worker or have lost your SNAP benefits, the Houston Food Bank is having specific distributions for affected families. Find dates and locations here - you need to preregister. If you need help signing up, call 2-1-1 (or ask a friend).
On Thursday, November 6, at 4PM, Spring Woods Middle School will have its semi-monthly food pantry. This is a close-by opportunity to receive food assistance. Also, if you would like to volunteer, please sign up here. There are several dates throughout the year.
Fair Haven United Methodist Church (1330 Gessner) has a regular food pantry at 10-1:45PM Monday-Friday.
